Mercury Retrograde June 7 – July 1, 2014

It is that time of year again when Mercury, the messenger begins his retrograde journey through the sky on June 7th and will continue on his retrograde path until July 1st.   It is the time when we are given the opportunity to slow down and play catch up.  Since this Mercury retrograde cycle is in Cancer, a water sign, it will give us an opportunity to rethink old habit patterns and emotional responses to challenges in our life. There may be a desire to retreat or spend more time with family or tending to family matters.    You may […]

Venus in Taurus

We are finally getting a break as Venus the planet that rules love and money has moved into Taurus. I love Venus in Taurus and Venus loves being there. This should help dissipate some of the tension that we have been feeling from the grand cross a few weeks ago. We should begin to have a better handle on our values and finances with a brighter outlook and attitude. I thought it was interesting that this shopping mall in Odaiba,Tokyo is called the Venus Fort Shopping Mall.

Full Moon in Scorpio May 14, 2014

We are already beginning to feel the energy building as we are approaching the full moon in Scorpio at 3:16 pm EDT on May 14th.. Emotions and volatility can run high during the full moon. This when that which you have been waiting for can come to fruition. When the moon is in Scorpio people tend to become more aggressive, critical, impatient and moody. There is a noticeable increase of intensity and heightened sensitively in our reactions to our surrounds and our personal interactions. Be careful not over react or hold a grudge. This is not a good time for […]

Planetary Configuration has everyoneon edge

Putin and the situation in Russia, In the heavens, a rare planetary configuration astrologers call a grand cross has everyone a bit on edge. The configuration has transiting planets Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto all locked together at either 90-degree right angles or 180-degree opposition aspects. These stressful aspects link astrology’s Cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. In the grand cross alignment Mars contributes impulsive raw energy and Jupiter the potential for over-the-top excesses. Uranus introduces an unstable or unpredictable element and transformative Pluto the potential for total destruction or annihilation. It’s easy to think of this as a […]

Solar Eclipse in Taurus 4/29/14

Solar Eclipse,  Sun Sign Forecast – what’s to come for you The new moon is always a wonderful time to initiate something new and when it is a solar eclipse the energy is especially significant. This is a thumb nail sketch of what’s to come.  Many times we begin to feel the effects of an eclipse 30 days prior to the event.  My husband, who is a Sagittarius, was diagnosed with recurring cancer a month ago.  This eclipse is taking place in his 6th house of health.  Aries – It’s time for you to take a look at your finances.  Maybe […]

Astrology can help when planning surgery

Some times we are so busy dealing with life and what the planetary cycles are throwing our way that we don’t have time to communicate or share information as we would like to.  This has been the case for me these past few weeks.  As I mentioned in my April Forecast/Newsletter, the cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, are really getting their butts kicked.  Or to put it more mildly, feeling the impact of the lunar eclipse we had on April 15th… And this Aries can certainly testify to that. I am very grateful that my husband is recovering so nicely […]

No Surgery on full or new moon

When they tried to schedule my husband’s caner surgery for April 15th I immediately said, “can we do it any sooner then that”.  I wasn’t shy about letting the scheduler know that I was a professional astrologer and the full moon is not a desirable time to have surgery. In fact I devoted  several chapters in my book, “An Astrologer’ Journey” to the lunar cycle and how to select the best days to achieve your desired results.  Timing is everything.  I work with clients all of the time to help pick the best days for surgery, taking a trip, gambling, […]

Lunar/Solar Eclipse April 2014, Sun Sign Forecast

There will be a total lunar eclipse on April 15th at 3:42 AM EDT, which should be visible from most of North America.  This lunar eclipse will set off a grand cross in the sky, which is a very powerful and rare configuration.  It will, unfortunately, generate tension and challenges.  I believe that all creatures large and small living on earth will feel this in one form or another, but especially the cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. This forecast is intended to help you direct your energy in a positive light. It has been my experience that the effects […]

Aries New Moon forge ahead with enthusiasum

There’s a new moon in Aries @ 2:45 PM EDT today. It is the second new moon this month. The first one was March 1st. These next few weeks are an ideal time to begin those new projects that you have been thinking about. This is a high energy strong motivation cycle. When the new moon is in Aries, people tend to be more enthusiastic, ambitious, impulsive and impatient. Watch out for tempers flaring, especially when driving. This is also setting off a cardinal grand cross with Mars in Libra, Jupiter in Cancer, Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn. […]

Aries Sun Sign Forecast 2014

Aries will enjoy a new moon in their sun sign this month on March 30th.  The two weeks following this new moon will be an excellent time for them to initiate new project or endeavors. Aries are going through some interesting times as Uranus, the planet of “expect the unexpected”  is continuing to travel through their sun sign.  If you are a March Aries, I’m sure you already know what I’m talking about.  If you are an April Aries, your turn is coming.  Be prepared to “expect the unexpected.”  Fortunately, most Aries thrive on change and excitement and this Uranian energy […]

Full Moon in Gemini Dec. 3, 2017

Let’s get ready for the New Year as we let go of that which no longer suits or serves us. The December 3rd Full Moon in Gemini along with Mercury going retrograde in Sagittarius on the same day is the perfect opportunity to begin the releasing process and allowing space in your life to attract something new in the New Year. The “new” can be a new opportunity, new ideas, or new material things. The Full Moon is usually when that which you have been waiting for will come to fruition. The check arrives in the mail. You get the […]

New Moon in Scorpio and you- Nov. 18, 2017

As we are adjusting to the time change and fewer daylight hours this is a good time to reflect, plan, and prepare for that which we would like to manifest into our life. The moon will be in her balsamic phase, also known as the “dark of the moon,” on November 17th. This tends to be a quiet, low key, low energy time as we are gearing up to take action when the moon begins her new cycle on the 18th. November 18th – New Moon in Scorpio @ 6:42 AM ET– This is an excellent time to initiate a […]

New Moon in Libra Oct. 19th, Focus on your Relationships

We begin this week with the moon completing her last quarter as we prepare to set our intentions for the new moon on October 19th @ 3:12 pm edst. The 24 hours prior to the new moon is known as the balsamic phase. This is when there is no light reflecting, no energy.  It is best to be used for quiet, contemplative activities. The New Moon will bring us a new cycle wherein we can plant seeds for a brighter, more compassionate, more cooperative future. When the moon is in Libra, and especially when it is a new moon, it […]

New moon, new ideas

For those of you who live in the areas recently touched by hurricane Irma, I hope this newsletter finds you safe and in good health. Irma’s impacts were widely varied. For some it was dramatic and life changing, like having a tree fall on your house, or being flooded, and for others it was an inconvenience. And for others it may have been more labor intensive, like cleaning the debris from your backyard or mopping up water. I personally feel very fortunate and blessed that I never lost electricity or had any water damage. My only inconvenience was the challenge […]
