The November 28th Lunar Eclipse will impact each of us in a different way, depending upon what area of your astrology chart it happens to fall in. For those of you who are new to astrology lingo, it may be helpful for you to know that your astrology chart idivided into 12 houses and each house pertains to a different area of your life. Now, if this is more information then you feel you need, all you have to do is read about your particular Sun sign and you’ll have the gist of what I mean. Keep in mind that […]
I had originally written an article on Oct. 21, long before we knew anything about the development of hurricane Sandy. It appears that once again astrology proves to be true to form. The storm will no doubt have an impact on the election on the east coast and turn out to be one of the unexpected factors that I was talking about. Although I suspect there will be more unpredictable and unexpected events taking place this Election Day and the days to follow. Although I do have a strong preference for the out come of this election, I would not pretend to make a predictable out […]
It’s that time again. As we prepare to elect our next president, which by the way I never try to predict or voice my opinion about. As a matter of fact I believe it would be impossible to for anyone to predict the out come of this presidential election. Mercury will be stationing retrograde on election day. Mercury was retrograde in 2000 when George W. Bush was elected and we had the “hanging chads” in Florida, and in 1960 when John F. Kennedy was elected the results were so close that Nixon did not concede until the day after the election. […]
Just got a fabulous picture from my son as he was riding in a hot balloon over Sedona, AZ. when it occurred to me that it was the perfect way to be celebrating the summer solstice. It just so happens that my son is a Gemini who has Jupiter and Venus traveling over his Sun. What a perfect example of enjoying this marvelous transit. And what makes it even better is that his girlfriend, who is with him, is a Cancer Sun. So she is enjoying the radiance of the summer solstice on her Sun sign. No doubt this will be an outstanding […]
Whew! I Just returned from attending UAC, The United Astrology Conference in New Orleans. I was there promoting my new book “An Astrologer’s Journey”, and attending some very inspiring and informative astrology workshops. Yes, I am still enjoying my journey. There were 1,500 astrologers in attendance from all over the world. It was a great opportunity to hook up with some “old friends”, like Brenda Brush from Ft. Lauderdale, who was my first astrology teacher many years ago and meet new friends like Jacel fromAustralia, and Gina from Orlando. It was an exciting, fantastic week, but as always, it is good to be home again.
The May 20th Solar Eclipse is taking place in your Sun sign, which is an indication of major events and changes coming your way. Gemini typically thrive on change and activity, so fasten your seat belt and enjoy the ride. This year is all about personal change and personal growth. It’s especially important for you to take care of your health. You may begin a new exercise program or diet. The closer this eclipse falls to your birthday the more siqnificant it will be for you.
“Astrologer Kelly Lowe takes an unusual and welcome approach to exploring the celestial arts in An Astrologer’s Journey. Written in the first person as the story of how she got into astrology and wha she ‘s learned along the way, this tale takes the reader behind the scenes of the astrological community, while explaining many of the most interesting astrological principles. A few pages introduce the language of astrology, and then her story begins with her first astrology reading, an event that changed her life. After you read the section on the Jupiter connection, you’ll want to compare the position […]
I have some very exciting news to share. I have just learned that Dell Horoscope “The World’s Leading Astrology Magazine”, has printed a glowing review of my new book “An Astrologer’s Journey” in their June issue. If you happen to be one of their subscribers please check it out. If you are not a subscriber, the magazine is usually found in book stores, drug stores or grocery stores. I would love to receive a response from anyone who has read the review.
Wonderful things can happen even when Mercury is Retrograde. When I was asked to select a date for the re-opening of my friends art studio it just so happen that the optimum time for her was during the Mercury Rx cycle. So keeping that in mind she proceeded with her plans and resolved to stay flexible and be prepared for what ever might occur on the day of the event. As it turned out, it was a beautiful event. The only small glitch was that it started to rain just before the ribbon cutting ceramoney which was out doors. Everyone […]

It’s that time of the year again that we all love and look forward to. Spring is in the air, or for those of us who live in Florida, summer is already upon us and the days are getting longer every day. The sun rises long before I wake up and there’s still plenty of time for those evening walks on the beach before it sets. We can continue to enjoy the extended sunshine hours through June 21st, which is the Summer Solstice and the longest day of the year. So lets take advantage of these long sunny days and […]
The new Moon on May 18th would normally be an excellent time to begin new projects, but when it is in Taurus it will be a slow, methodical start. In addition to the new Moon, Mercury will be stationing retrograde the evening of the 18th. So you will want to take advantage of the new Moon earlier in the day. The roots of any project that you initiate during this lunar cycle will be grounded and long lasting. This is a wonderful time to plant your garden in a metaphorical or literal sense. If you were born with your Sun […]
On Sunday May 3rd, we had a very intense full Moon @ 13 degrees Scorpio, which was exactly square to Jupiter. A full Moon in Scorpio in and of itself is pretty intense, but when it is squared by Jupiter, the magnifier, it can really blow up the emotions and intensify any situation that may already be in play. I can personally testify to that as I was experiencing what I thought was a life-threatening crisis on Sunday in relation to my husband’s terminal illness. Even though I was aware of what was going on with the full Moon, I […]
