The full moon on August 15th will be in the eccentric sign of Aquarius. This has all the ingredients to be a very exciting and eventful lunation, which will continue to manifest. It has been my experience that we feel the energy of the full moon for several days prior to and following.
Venus, the planet related to love, and Mars, the energizer bunny, are teaming up with Aquarius for this full moon. This means you can expect some major drama in romantic relationships, friendships, and with family members.
The full moon is when you want to release and let go of that which no longer serves or suites you. It is also when you will see the manifestation of the seeds that you have planted and intentions you set during the new moon cycle.
Full moons tend to bring out the more emotional, instinctual—you might even say, irrational—side of our nature. And although Aquarius can be quite intuitive in its own way, it tends to favor the head rather than the heart. As a result, even full moons in this fixed air sign can have an emotionally detached kind of vibe.
But with this full moon opposite Mercury, Venus, and Mars in Leo which rules the heart, there is nothing detached about it! This is more of an expression of who we are at the deepest, most essential level. Everything feels extremely personal—and no matter how much we try to stay neutral, we’re likely to take things personally too.
