This can be a very productive and enlightening time…..
When Mercury is traveling through Cancer and especially when it is retrograde, it activates our feelings and our ability to trust our instinct and values. If we have been ignoring this aspect of our nature it will now demand our attention. Circumstances will arise that will bring this into the forefront.
You may tend to want to be alone and more introspective. This is not a particularly social retrograde cycle, it is much more introspective and self-evaluating.
This is a great time to re-group, re-visit, re-process, re-read, and re-evaluate. You are undoubtedly already feeling this energy. I know I am. I have been drawn to re-reading my journals from years ago. Yes, I keep all my journals and left explicit instructions with my son to burn them up upon my passing or I will come back to haunt him. I mention this in first book, “An Astrologer’s Journey”, My Life with the Stars. Of course I didn’t say what was in them….
