New Moon in Capricorn Jan. 13, 2021 – A positive look ahead

There’s a party coming up and you won’t want to miss it. Mercury, the communicator – Jupiter, the benefactor and Saturn the teacher and disciplinarian will be dancing together in the sign of Aquarius as the new moon in Capricorn on January 13th will be playing with Pluto, the transformer. Venus will be tagging along in Capricorn while Mars and Uranus are doing their thing together in Taurus. So, what does this mean for the New Year…
It’s going to be a grand old time for Capricorns and Aquarians, but we will all be feeling the energy. It is a time for new beginnings with structure, organization, determination and planning. The Aquarius support will give us the motivation, creativity and initiative to accomplish our goals. We are all interacting in new and different ways as we are adjusting through this stage of life.
“CBS News Sunday Morning”, captured my attention when I saw an interview with a brain surgeon who was talking about Alzheimer’s and taking care of your brain. (Those of you who have read my books know that I get a lot of my inspiration from this show. I record it and fast forward through the commercials and things I’m not interested in.) I immediately thought about how the timing of this Dr.’s message related to what was going
on astrologically, and it all made perfect sense, with Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn traveling through Aquarius. It’s a great time to focus on taking care of our brain.
This is an outline of what he said was important to take care of your brain.
1)     Exercise (I know we all love to do that.)
2)     Healthy diet, less red meat and processed food, more vegetables and fruits
especially berries, blueberries are best.
3)     Thinking skills, (continue to develop your mind; reading, computer, learn
something that is new and interesting for you. )
4)     A good night’s sleep is important.
5)     Friends and family – spending time with (I know these days it may be virtual,
but, that’s still good.)
And he said the best thing you can do is to take a brisk walk with a close friend and talk about your problems. ( or contact Kelly, just kidding)
I always appreciate and enjoy hearing from you and response to all communications.
I wish you a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
