This eclipse will be a total solar eclipse. While the Earth experiences, on average, a total eclipse every 18 months, total eclipses are not always visible from all locations on the planet. There have been only eight total solar eclipses hitting American soil since the signing of the Declaration of Independence! The US experienced a total solar eclipse in 2017 with the next one being on April 8th. After this we won’t see another solar eclipse over the US until August 12, 2045!
You will want to be sure to read the forecast for your Sun sign, Moon sign and ascendant. For example, if you are an Aries Sun sign with a Taurus Moon and Leo ascendant, you will want to read the forecast for each of those signs as they will each resonate with you. Cancer: June 21st – July 20th – nurturing, receptive, cautious, reserved, sensitive, maternal What do you want to change when it comes to your job? New doors of opportunity may be opening in your professional life under this new moon, so it’s good to have a loose idea of what direction you’d like to head. While there’s no pressure to make a flash decision on anything, it will be beneficial for you to be ready for some changes, as the energy is shifting in your public life and your career trajectory might experience a shift.
Leo: July 21st – Aug. 20th – charismatic, commanding, generous, ambitious, optimistic – This is a time for you to get in touch with your philosophical beliefs and spiritual views about life. Aquarius: Jan. 21st – Feb. 20th – inventive, intellectual, diplomatic, independent, humanitarian – This is a learning, sharing information, and connecting with siblings. This eclipse will inspire new ways of expressing your thoughts and communicating your ideas with the world. Let your voice be heard. You will find joy and satisfaction through teaching, learning and taking small trips. Have you thought about keeping a journal? You’ve got a lot of ideas and information to share, but if you’re unable to effectively get your point across, you’ll rob others of being able to gain your wisdom.
Pisces: Feb. 20th – March 21st – intuitive, compassionate, introspective, clairvoyant – Your values and what is really important to you is your focus during this eclipse cycle. This can be from monetary or non-monetary areas of your life. There is a lot going on with your finances right now. There could be shake-ups in your material resources causing you to feel destabilized or out of sorts. You may decide to give yourself a greater sense of control by putting a temporary moratorium on luxury spending. Between the eclipse and the Mercury Retrograde mix-ups, a more conservative approach to your finances will likely reduce your stress.
