June 7th – Balsamic Moon until June 8th @ 11:56 AM, EST – Since this is the cycle when the moon has no light it is best to avoid starting anything new until the new moon on June 8th. This is typically a quiet period. It is a time when the phone does not ring or it is difficult to reach people. I have found this to be an unfavorable time to conduct business or accomplish anything new.
This is a great time to complete that which you have already started and work behind the scenes. I like to think of this as a finishing up cycle and use it in preparation for things that I want to begin after the new moon. You will want to keep in mind that the new moon does not begin until 11:56 AM EST. Notice that Saturday morning is still considered to be the dark of the moon so you might as well sleep in and enjoy a lazy Saturday morning.
June 8th new moon in Gemini @ 11:56 AM EST – When the moon is in Gemini and especially when it is a new moon, people tend to be more talkative, social and interactive. This new moon is accompanied by Mars and Jupiter which gives it an added bonus. By this I mean there is more focus and energy to those matters that are at hand for you.
This is a wonderful time to begin new projects and activities. Since this is a dual sign (Gemini, the twins) you may find yourself multi- tasking. You may find it difficult to make up your mind. You will see both sides of everything and be more adaptable, changeable and talkative. This is a good time to write or take care of tasks that require intellectual pursuits. It has been my experience that you can actually take advantage of this new moon energy for about two weeks, or until the full moon on June 23rd. You may want to be careful when driving since more drivers may be mufti-tasking while they are behind the wheel. Gemini energy can be distracting.
Special focus for Gemini, Libra and Aquarius – This should be an especially active and busy month for those who were born with their sun, moon or ascendant in the sign of Gemini, Libra or Aquarius. This new moon cycle will be very eventful and busy for you. You should receive all of the support that you need to accomplish your goals and you will have the energy to back you up.
Pisces, Virgo and Sagittarius may find this new moon cycle to be a bit problematic. You might want to proceed with caution and avoid trying to accomplish too much too quickly.
