The moon is in its’ balsamic phase, also known as the dark of the moon, until January 11th @ 6:57 AM EST. During this time, you may feel a slight decrease in energy, and motivation as the moon completes its cycle and approaches the new moon.
I encourage you to give yourself permission to take time to reflect on the intentions you want to set with the upcoming new moon. Take this opportunity to review the intentions that you have previously set and be amazed by how many of them have come to fruition. Use this period of introspection to recharge and prepare for a fresh start with the new moon.
We can look forward to an extra boost of motivation with this new lunar cycle. Mercury, the mental facilitator, and Mars, the energizer bunny, will align with the new moon in Capricorn and Mars is settling into Capricorn until February 13th, 2024. You will feel renewed and inspired to focus on your long-term goals…in addition Uranus the innovator, in Taurus, will be trining, i.e. making a supportive connection with the moon.
As the planet of communication settles into Capricorn on January 13th, just a few days after the new moon, you’ll be able to regain clarity and bring your plans back into focus. Allow yourself to release control and replace your fear-based decision-making with confidence in yourself. This can be a very strong and productive time. I encourage you to tune into it. Enjoy this new moon with love and gratitude.
Those who were born with their sun/moon or ascendant in Capricorn, Taurus or Virgo will find this new moon to be very personal and meaningful, but we can all tune into and appreciate this energy.
